Blessed Midsummer!

The sun has reached his peak today on the longest day of the year... or at least I think it's today. Apparently the difference between the calendar year and the actual revolution of the Earth around the sun is off by a little bit and this causes the date to be continually shifting. I've always been accustomed to the solstice falling on the 21st of June, so I'm at least going to observe the sabbat today. For an interesting read on different countries' traditions, check out the Wikipedia entry. Regardless of when you celebrate, have a blessed and safe Midsummer!
